Mac is fun. Sometimes you can’t even differenciate between working and playing. Below is the list of Mac’s application that worth-installed:

Skitch

Free application from the maker of Comic Life, Plasaq. Skitch basically helps upload and share your image on www.skitch.com. I usually use it when troubleshooting with clients, I give them proper screenshot, drag it to Mail. Skitch also can upload your photo to Flickr or .Mac!

Mactracker

Mactracker provides detailed information on every Apple Macintosh computer ever made, including items such as processor speed, memory, optical drives, graphic cards, supported Mac OS versions, and expansion options. Also included is information on Apple mice, keyboards, displays, printers, scanners, digital cameras, iPod, Apple TV, iPhone, Wi-Fi Cards/Base Stations, Newton, and Mac OS versions.

Split&Concat

Split Concat

Sometimes you find a bunch of files with extension MyabiOzawa.mpg.001, MyabiOzawa.mpg.002, MyabiOzawa.mpg.003, ect, and don’t know what to do with ‘em, use Split&Concat. You can split large files to be uploaded or to put together split files downloaded from the Internet.

If you don’t have enough money to have a .Mac account, you may try it. Dropbox is an application to store and share you files. You don’t need to worry about sync, because it works automatically in the background. It helps me a lot when switching device from office and home without worrying to forget bring a flashdisk. FYI, you got 2 gigs of diskspace.

I love this player and have been using it since have a Macbook. The best of VLC is able to play a lot of media format, please take look at long list of it’s features.
